Applications are accepted on a rolling admissions cycle. Some courses may be available for shorter terms that begin after the start of the semester. Programs may have specific start dates and deadlines. Please check with an admissions counselor or advisor for more information.
Academic Programs
The college offers over 190 different credentials, giving students numerous options to succeed in their desired career field. Our staff are constantly innovating and aiming for a higher quality of education for all students. We offer classes in a variety of formats, making it easier for you to finish your career at a faster pace.
Adult Education
For High School Equivalency (HSE), two computer-based testing (CBT) pathways are available through testing centers or proctored at home: the GED® test or the HiSET® exam. Athens Tech also offers a workforce-based solution to a high school diploma through joint enrollment called Career Plus.
Dual Achievement
The Dual Achievement Program offers qualified students a recognized and alternate path to high school graduation. Students choose to simultaneously earn a high school diploma and two (2) technical certificates of credit, a technical diploma, or a college associate degree in a specific career pathway in order to meet high school graduation requirements.

Tech on Tuesdays
Prospective students are invited to TECH on Tuesdays. Information on applying for admission to Athens Technical College will be covered during these information sessions. College staff will also discuss the financial aid application process and the placement testing procedures.
