Adult EducationFree English as a Second Language (ESL) classes at Athens Technical College will help you with reading, writing, speaking, and listening in English. We offer beginning, intermediate, and advanced classes for adults who are learning English or who seek to improve their abilities. Your first 12 hours of class time must be in person. After 12 hours, you will have the option for online or hybrid classes.

- Must be 18 years old (16 or 17 with additional documentation)
- Must provide evidence of legal presence in the U.S. (i.e. citizen, permanent resident, employment authorization, many other visas with I-94, or asylum documentation; tourist visas and selected other visas are not eligible).
- Class Schedule
- Classes are offered in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings. You can start classes after you have completed an orientation session
