Workplace Fundamentals Course Offered in February

A Workplace Fundamentals course will be offered starting February 22 at the Elbert County Campus of Athens Technical College. Unemployed job seekers can apply to attend the six-week session where participants will gain professional and computer skills while learning about business ethics and workplace etiquette. Participants will also have the opportunity to become OSHA, WorkKeys, and Forklift Driver certified.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED®. Males must also be registered with Selective Service.
Classes will be held Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Participants should be prepared to attend all scheduled classes for the entire six weeks. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify. Applications are available at the Elbert County Campus and are due by Friday, January 29.
