Workplace Fundamentals Course Offered in June

A Workplace Fundamentals course will be offered starting June 15 at the Greene County Campus of Athens Technical College. Unemployed job seekers can apply to attend the six-week session where participants will gain professional and computer skills while learning about business ethics and workplace etiquette. Participants will also have the opportunity to become OSHA, WorkKeys, and Forklift Driver certified.
Classes will be held Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Participants should be prepared to attend all scheduled classes for the entire six weeks. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify. Applications are available at the Greene County Campus and are due by Monday, June 1.
The inaugural Workplace Fundamentals course was held in January. By completion of the program, all graduates had received job offers from area companies.
