Athens Tech Foundation Hosts O.W.L. Awards

The accomplishments of local business and industry were honored on November 19 during the Athens Tech Foundation’s second annual Outstanding Workforce Leadership (O.W.L.) Awards.  Held at The Classic Center, a full ballroom of attendees celebrated the accomplishments of O.W.L. Award recipients.

International Club Holds Photo Contest

People and culture, landscapes and wildlife, and food were the centerpieces of Capture the Culture, a photo contest sponsored by the International Club at Athens Technical College.  Students, faculty, and staff were invited to submit their cultural snapshots for the contest.  Winners were announced during a social hour on November 19.

Baxalta Information Session

Date:  November 13, 2015

Baxalta Incorporated will present an information session as part of the Athens Technical College Employer of the Day series.  Hosted by Athens Technical College Career Services, the information session will be held on Tuesday, November 17 at 11:00 a.m. in the Auditorium on the Athens Campus.

Dr. Andrea Daniel Promoted to Executive Vice President for Athens Technical College

Dr. Andrea Daniel, a long-serving administrator at Athens Technical College, has been promoted to executive vice president, effective November 9. 

Georgia Driver’s Education Commission Awards Grant to Athens Technical College

Athens Technical College is pleased to announce it has been awarded a grant in the amount of $16,230 from the Georgia Driver’s Education Commission (GDEC).
