Parent University to be Held at Greene County Campus

Date: October 6, 2015

The Greene County Campus will host an upcoming Parent University session.  Developed by the Greene County School System, Parent University is designed to help prepare parents and guardians on how to assist their high school students with the college application process.  Parent University will be held on Thursday, October 8 at 6:00 p.m. at the Greene County Campus of Athens Technical College.

GSRT to Hold Fall Meeting at Athens Technical College

Date: September 29, 2015

The Georgia Society of Radiologic Technologists, Inc. will hold their fall kickoff meeting at Athens Technical College on Saturday, October 24. The meeting will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in the Life Sciences Building on the Athens Campus. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and a continental breakfast will be provided.

Bridge to Success Offers Career Training

Date: September 28, 2015

The Bridge to Success program offers career training in Commercial Truck Driving and Manufacturing Operations. Bridge to Success is open to individuals ages 18 to 24. Students can enroll with or without a high school diploma.

ECESA Members Raise Funds for PSD Nepal

Date: September 24, 2015

Members of the Early Childhood Educator Student Association (ECESA) recently participated in a fundraiser to assist disaster relief in Nepal. During International Mud Day, ECESA members sold “mud” handprints to raise funds for Partnership for Sustainable Development Nepal (PSD Nepal). PSD Nepal will uses donations to help rebuild schools in Nepal that were destroyed in the recent disaster.
