Athens Tech Foundation Scholarships, Awards, and Access Funds
The Athens Technical College Foundation, Inc. offers a number of scholarships annually. The purpose of these scholarships is to recognize and reward outstanding students. Application eligibility criteria and deadlines can be found on the individual scholarship links.
Athens Technical College Alumni Scholarship
The ATC Alumni Association Scholarship is offered annually to an active participant in the Alumni Association and ATC graduate returning to further their education at Athens Technical College.
Athens Technical College Nursing Scholarship
A scholarship awarded to a student who is accepted to or currently enrolled in the Athens Technical College Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program. Preference to Elbert County Resident, if no qualified Elbert County resident applies, the scholarship will be open to all qualifying applicants.
Award for Excellence Scholarship
The Award for Excellence Scholarship is awarded each year to the applicant with the highest cumulative GPA.
Business, Education, and Humanities Scholarship
This scholarship assists a person enrolling or currently enrolled in Athens Technical College Business, Education, and Humanities program.
David C White Memorial Scholarship
The David C. White Memorial Scholarship is offered each year to a student in a Technical & Industrial Division program.
Dr. Carol L White Award
The Dr. Carol L. White Award is offered each year to a Phi Theta Kappa member at ATC who is in good standing with the campus-based PTK chapter.
Dr. Flora Tydings Leadership Scholarship
This scholarship is a merit based scholarship and will benefit a person enrolling or currently enrolled in Athens Technical College that shows evidence of good citizenship, work ethics and school/community leadership.
Dr. Mark A. Ellis Medical Assisting Scholarship
The Dr. Mark A. Ellis Scholarship in Medical Assisting is offered each year to a student who is accepted and currently enrolled in the Medical Assisting program, has a minimum of two terms remaining to complete the MA program, currently in good academic standing, and shows a financial need.
Dr. Sherrie Ford Memorial Scholarship
The Dr. Sherrie Ford Memorial Scholarship is a need-based scholarship awarded each semester to eligible Power Partners, Inc. employees and/or their children attending Athens Technical College.
Early Childhood Care & Education Parkview Scholarship
Established by the board of the former Parkview Playschool, the Early Childhood Care & Education Parkview Scholarship is awarded each semester to qualified students taking MATH0098 or MATH0099. Students must be enrolled in the ECCE Associate Degree program and meet additional criteria to be considered for the scholarship. This scholarship is available for the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters.
First American Veteran's Scholarship
The First American Veteran's scholarship is a need-based scholarship awarded annually to an Athens Technical College student who has served a minimum of 18 months active duty in any branch of the US Armed Forces including the National Guard.
Gijs and Louise Schimmel Centurion Poultry Scholarship
The Gijs and Louise Schimmel Centurion Poultry Scholarship is to help support students studying poultry science and production facility maintenance based on demonstrated academic achievement, financial need, and expressed interest in pursuing a career in the poultry industry.
Health Science Merit-Based Scholarship
The Health Science Merit-Based Scholarship is offered each year to a student enrolled in a Health and Life Science Division eligible program.
High School Merit-Based Scholarship
The High School Merit-Based Scholarship is offered each year to a High School student graduating from one of the public high schools within Athens Technical College's service area. Eligible counties include Athens-Clarke, Elbert, Greene, Hart, Madison, Oconee, Oglethorpe, Taliaferro, Walton, and Washington-Wilkes.
Jill and John Drerup Radiography Scholarship
The Jill and John Drerup Radiography Scholarship is a financial need-based scholarship awarded bi-annually to a student currently accepted to the Radiography Program at Athens Technical College.
Jodi Lawrence Scholarship
The Jodi Lawrence Scholarship is a need-based scholarship awarded Fall and Spring semester to Greene County School District students.
Learning Support Scholarship
The Learning Support Scholarship is an annual award to students who are required to take learning support classes in two subject areas and who show academic promise.
Lewis Williford Memorial Scholarship
The purpose of the Lewis W. Williford Memorial Scholarship is to encourage working individuals to continue their education. The scholarship is awarded annually to a working individual who is returning to school after 7 years and / or who has received their GED within the last three years.
Life Science and Public Safety Scholarship
This scholarship assists a person enrolling or currently enrolled in Athens Technical College Life Science and Public Safety program.
MollerTech South Industrial Systems Technology Merit Scholarship
The MollerTech South Industrial Systems Technology Merit Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship awarded to annually to a student enrolled in the Industrial Systems Technology program. GVMAA Scholarship Application The Georgia Veterinary Medical Association Auxiliary Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship awarded annually to a rising second year student in the Veterinary Technology Associate Degree program.
Mr. Edward Graham Community Service Scholarship
This scholarship is a merit based scholarship and will benefit a person enrolling or currently enrolled in Athens Technical College that shows evidence of good citizenship, work ethics and school/community leadership and service.
Peach State Federal Credit Union Scholarship
A scholarship awarded to an ATC student currently enrolled in an Associate Degree Program.
Robert G Shelnutt Memorial Scholarship
Robert G. Shelnutt Memorial Citizenship Scholarship is offered each year to a student who demonstrates the highest level of good citizenship, work ethic and leadership at Athens Technical College.
Rotary Club of Athens Fellowship
The Rotary Club of Athens Fellowship is a merit and need-based scholarship awarded to student(s) currently enrolled in the Athens Community Career Academy.
Technology, Engineering, and Manufacturing Scholarship
This scholarship assists a person enrolling or currently enrolled in Athens Technical College Technology, Engineering, and Manufacturing program.
WCHCF Educational Access Fund
The WCHCF Access Fund is available each semester to ATC students enrolled in a Life Sciences program (excluding Veterinary Technology) and residing in Walton County.
