International Club Holds Photo Contest
Date: November 20, 2015
People and culture, landscapes and wildlife, and food were the centerpieces of Capture the Culture, a photo contest sponsored by the International Club at Athens Technical College. Students, faculty, and staff were invited to submit their cultural snapshots for the contest. Winners were announced during a social hour on November 19.
The International Club is open to all students interested in sharing and exploring cultures. Various themed International Coffee Hours are held the third Thursday of each month from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Student Activities Center on the Athens Campus. Past themes have included coffee tastings from around the world, a Honduran cooking demonstration, Salsa lessons, and a photo competition. The next International Coffee Hour will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016.
