Campus Conversations
As part of Athens Technical College's data gathering efforts for Achieving the Dream, Dr. Yancey Gulley, director of student activities, and Dr. Alysen Heil, adjunct coordinator and math instructor, organized a series of three Campus Conversations sessions to discuss student success. In these discussions, groups of people representing full-time faculty, adjunct faculty, staff, and students met to address four main topics:
- Defining student success
- Current efforts to ensure student success
- Obstacles to student success
- How to overcome obstacles to student success
