Scheduling Placement Tests
To schedule an appointment for the placement test, you must first submit an application to the college and pay the application fee. Once your application has been received, you will be scheduled for the placement test either by mail or in person. If you are notified by mail, a letter will be sent to the address provided on your application informing you of a specific date and time that a computer will be reserved for you to take the COMPASS.
Should you be unable to attend your scheduled date and time, it will be your responsibility to make sure that you take the placement test before the deadline for the quarter that you are hoping to begin school. We will not be able to reschedule your appointment. If you miss your scheduled test date, you must come in on an open lab date, check-in, and wait until a computer is available for you to take the COMPASS. If you turn in your application in person on an open lab date and a computer is available, you may elect to test at that time, if you prefer.
