How Estimated Costs of Attendance Affect Financial Aid

The costs of attendance (COA) figures in the chart above provide an estimate of what it costs to attend Athens Technical College for a traditional nine-month academic year. Your actual expenses may vary, but the standard amounts allowed for each COA component provided on this page are used to determine financial aid eligibility. Each financial aid applicant is assigned a COA according to how the student fits into the classifications in the chart.

The Financial Aid Office must make sure that the combined total of federal, state or local financial aid awarded does not exceed a student's COA. The COA for Athens Technical College is revised and recorded annually.
