Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)

The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) is a grant for undergraduate students with exceptional financial need. This grant provides money to students to help pay their educational expenses. You must meet all of the general eligibility requirements in order to qualify. To apply, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Check here for the Application Process.
You may be eligible to receive FSEOG if:
  • you are eligible for a Federal Pell Grant and
  • you are registered for at least 5 credit hours per semester

How much money can I get?

The maximum award is $900 a year for the 2012-2013 award year.

When will I receive my financial aid?

Your award is first applied to your school charges to cover tuition and fees. A portion of your grant (after charges) is made available in the bookstore prior to the first day of the semester. Any money left over is paid to you as a refund. Please check here to view the current semester's Pell refund dates.
