The mission of the Institutional Effectiveness Office at Athens Technical College is to coordinate evaluation and planning processes that support mission fulfillment and quality assurance.
Core activities and/or responsibilities of The Office include evaluation and planning for academic programs and educational support units; campus facilities master planning; institutional data collection and reporting to internal and external entities; grant writing for institutional programs; stakeholders' satisfaction and outcomes assessments; feasibility studies for new program offerings; monitoring media and trade sources for news and trends in the educational and economic development arenas affecting the college; communicating the college's news, events and developments both internally and externally; and overseeing activities related to program-specific and regional institutional accreditation.
